Maybelline Eyeshadows as a highlight

Comparison and Review:

Maybelline Eyeshadows in Linen and Champagne Fizz

Used as a highlight for the face

Hello beauty muffins.
I first heard about the Maybelline eyeshadow in Champagne Fizz from either Elle or Blair Fowler (if you haven’t heard of them go check them out—I’ll put their youtube urls in the bottom of this post). One of them was raving about what a great product this was and how beautiful it looked as a highlight. I decided to try it out.
But when I got to the store I realized that Linen was the exact same color (essentially) only matte instead of shimmer.
I tend to have fairly oily skin and I was worried a shimmer highlight would only accentuate this so I opted for the matte color, Linen.
However I was fairly disappointed. Linen did not give me the effect I was looking for. It did highlight the areas I was trying to highlight. So when I was at the grocery store and saw that Champagne Fizz (and all the other Maybelline singles) were only $2.54 I had to get it.
I am so glad I did, because it is such a beautiful highlight.
If you’re new to makeup or a professional MUA it’s a very versatile product and would add to anyone’s collection.

for some reason I don't have a good swatch of linen. I will get one asap and add it. =]

until next time

Moving to a new Country

Hi there.

So I know I only have nine followers on this blog, which is pretty damn sad, but I will say I have not done anything spectacular as of late and definitely need to get better at updating it. Too bad this past week has been literally insane for me. I will promise to be at least updating it weekly during my summer holiday, with the exception of the time I am in France and Italy and may not have access to my laptop.

Anywho, I am thinking of either starting a new blog or adding to this one with my boyfriend and my experience of moving to a new country. We are hoping to move to Australia by next January. We are hoping to transfer to either University of Sydney (Sydney Uni) or University of Queensland (Queensland Uni).

Only problem is WE HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE.

And it is super damn hard to figure this out on our own. We're trying our best. I have a meeting with my advisor who can hopefully help me and I am thinking about contacting the Study Abroad office.

I can't decide but stay tuned for posts on that and hopefully more beauty related posts!!! I have lots of videos to edit and upload for you guys just no time to do it!
Until next time.

xox,
